Scenic sanctuary
Overlooking valley views, our Blackwood home was designed to leverage a unique site. At first glance, the striking ultra-contemporary two-storey exterior hides what lies behind its door – a unique vantage point, perched high above rolling hills.
Our response was designing a home that integrates with its elevated outlook. Central to the concept was a hero infinity-style pool that stretches across green space to the horizon. A wraparound outdoor entertaining terrace adjacent is fitted with fans for ventilation, creating the ideal place for afternoon summer dips and sunset drinks. Natural materials throughout the home and understated interior curation are complemented by thoughtful details, from a fluted stone fireplace with floating hearth to a custom 200 bottle temperature controlled transparent wine cellar.
