Our City Fringe home was crafted for our clients who wanted to combine the best of their modern urban location and lifestyle, with the warmth and charm of heritage style.
Their vision was an Australian Edwardian-style villa, complete with period detailing that pays homage to historical craftsmanship. On arrival, an ornate façade sets the tone, with ashlar-pattern sandstone masonry, decorative plaster moulding and a traditional multi-panel entry door with custom leadlight. Inside, the grand hallway perfectly bridges classic European elegance with modern sophistication. A clean open plan kitchen living and separate private lounge retreat creates zones for reconnection and respite. Details throughout the home, like crystal chandeliers and intricate plaster ceiling roses add to its character, while Victorian-style skirting and multi-stepped ceiling cornices remain true to the heritage style. High-grade Australian hardwood flooring brings natural warmth, depth and a beautiful satin sheen throughout.
